4. The Bobby Heenan On Weed Story

As if Vinnie Mac acting like someone's geeky uncle at a 21st birthday party isn't funny enough, then picture the late, great Bobby Heenan getting all kinds of messed up on weed. Jaded from the road, Heenan asked Bruce how he kept so calm all the time. Prichard's answer: smoke the occasional joint and stroll through the day.

Bobby tried it, and said he did indeed feel calmer. Then, he left the room only to come rushing back in a few minutes later. When Bruce asked what was wrong, Heenan said he was seeing things. There was a midget and a lumberjack in the hallway, and they hadn't been there when he came in. Worse, the little person said, "Hey Bobby!".

Although this was the late-80s WWF locker room, where such things were commonplace, that didn't stop Heenan from thinking the weed was messing with his mind.

As a bonus story, Bruce also told how Heenan was pulled aside by security after coming off a plane. They wanted to know why he had weed in his socks. Later, Bobby blamed Prichard, but admitted that he had carried the drugs in his luggage rather than stuffing it down the socks he was wearing.
