10 Things We Learned From Bruce Prichard's Podcast On Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

6. Triple H Self-Produced & Filmed The Drive-Thru Wedding

Fun fact: both Bruce Prichard and Jim Ross had previously married their wives at the same drive-thru chapel used for Triple H and Stephanie in 1999. That's how WWE managed to film there. Bruce helped arrange a shooting schedule with the owners, and everything ran smoothly.

Remarkably, Bruce wasn't there to see it through. Despite being a top producer in the promotion, he and others sat on the sidelines as Triple H produced and filmed the bulk of it himself. That was extremely rare at the time. Talent just didn't go off capturing their own footage, but Triple H argued he knew the skits better than anyone.

His freedom ruffled some feathers in the locker room.

Triple H grabbed a lone cameraman for some of the segments and went off to do his own thing. Then, he handed the footage to Vince McMahon and what he'd shot made air. The usual production methods of the time (namely, some quality control) didn't apply.
