At the In Your House: Mind Games pay-per-view in September, 1996, the WWF came to ECW's backyard of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event, Mick Foley (as Mankind) was getting his first crack at Shawn Michaels and the WWF Heavyweight Title. There was another story largely hidden in plain sight.

A complete work, Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard organised for Paul Heyman, The Sandman, and Tommy Dreamer to be sat at ringside during the show's Free For All portion. Then, during a match between Justin Bradshaw and Savio Vega, Sandman would spit beer at the latter before the extreme contingent were thrown out by security.

When this happened, WWF stars backstage became heated and wanted to attack the ECW invaders. Cornering Prichard, The Undertaker asked if the situation had been planned. It had, and the fact that had been kept from him infuriated 'Taker.

Without hesitation, 'The Phenom' told McMahon and Prichard that they needed to smarten up somebody in the locker room next time they planned on pulling a stunt like that. To this day, Prichard regrets having to work the boys.
