Everyone still thought the match "sucked".

Bubba told a stunned 'Stone Cold' (ahem) that all six wrestlers came back through the curtain "dejected" at 'Mania X-Seven. They thought they'd failed to top the first TLC match because they couldn't really hear the crowd inside the cavernous Houston Astrodome and thought fans were being quiet for a reason.

There was also some tension due to those aforementioned arguments about how to sequence all those bumps they wanted to squeeze in. To top it all off, company officials informed The Dudleyz/Hardys/Edge and Christian that they were lopping a full five minutes from their match one hour before it happened.

They said the main event needed more time, which is something Ray couldn't resist busting Austin's chops for. Despite all of those issues, everybody nailed what they had set out to achieve. No-one could convince them of that when they came backstage afterwards though.
