Jericho spent approx three years in WCW before moving on to WWE, but told Austin that he wouldn't change one thing about his time in the much-maligned company. That raised an eyebrow on ol' 'Stone Cold', because he knew his friend had suffered some of the same creative frustrations he had years earlier.

Why won't Jericho badmouth WCW? Well, the place taught him one valuable lesson: MAXIMISE YOUR MINUTES. He carried that mindset to WWE, and still practices it on AEW TV today (not that time is ever going to be limited for Chris on Dynamite, but yes).

Jericho also revealed his plan should WCW try to job him out once it became clear that he was leaving in 1999. He said he would've carried an old-school boombox to the ring with him if they cut his entrance music, or designed t-shirts that said things like "Jericho: 0-10" if they put him on a losing streak.

Basically, he was gonna' make the best of anything they threw at him. WCW hardened Jericho.
