10 Things We Learned From CM Punk At Starrcast

8. His Budding Movie Career

CM Punk Starrcast III
Queensbury Pictures

Since his MMA career went south, Punk has turned his de-gloved hands to the silver screen, having recently concluded production on the upcoming horror films Girl on the Third Floor and Rabid. It's fair to say he's enjoying treading the sets a whole lot more than flailing in the Octagon, describing movies as "a lot of fun".

He jokes that his producer friends always make him play "jerks" - which shows what they think of him - and that the only thing he really dislikes is seeing his face blown up about 1000% during screenings. "I hate my own voice, my own face," Punk admits, making premieres that are 85% his mug difficult to endure. "This is a f*cking nightmare!" he remembered of one particular showing. Other than that, he was really happy with it.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
