It was widely understood that Punk fell out of love with wrestling when he went on his ultimately final sabbatical from WWE in 2014. So has he been happier in his life away from the ring over these past five years?

The answer is an emphatic "yes". The big difference, Punk notes, is that every night he gets to sleep in the same bed - his own. Comfortable mattress aside, what's most important is that he is able to spend time with his wife and dog, and live by his own schedule. The sense of contentedness just beams from his face.
