There were rumours that WWE would debut Cody on the 14 March episode of Raw. Why? Well, that show happened to be beamed live from Jacksonville, Florida, a place that obviously has AEW ties. Rhodes definitely said that this was complete and utter bullsh*t on 'Out Of Character'.

He was always going to re-debut at WrestleMania in Dallas.

Cody doesn't think there's any sense in trying to do anything that appeals to the hardcore All Elite fanbase. His comeback was all about WWE and making the biggest impact ever. It's hard to argue with him when he says that 'Mania was the ideal platform to make the most noise.

After all, why would it matter to the viewer watching at home that Raw was in Jacksonville? It'd be a cute nod towards his AEW run, but it wouldn't have helped to tell the story he wanted to tell in WWE. Besides, the company themselves had their eyes firmly trained on WrestleMania 38.
