10 Things We Learned From Cody’s Final AEW Dynamite Q&A

4. The Nation Of Collaboration

Cody Dynamite
All Elite Wrestling

Mindful of attracting new audience members as well as "reTurners" from the WCW era that elected to pass on WWE's vision for it in 2001, Cody spoke on his strategy for integrating other worlds into his own.

He said; "I think it's about appeasing and playing towards this crew of fans and them spreading the message that is All Elite Wrestling. The power of TV is not something you can underestimate. Warner Media has done an absurdly good job with marketing and branding thus far and sharing it with fans that weren't fans. But another key to getting to some people who've never seen wrestling is extrapolating on the character profiles you have.

I'll give you an example - Brandon Cutler and MJF got into a Twitter beef over Dungeons and Dragons and now the amount of Dungeons and Dragons fans who have never even seen a dang wrestling ring that are now tuning in to see if MJF gets shut up is really special. That's a way to combine all the different fandoms."
