10 Things We Learned From Dark Side Of The Ring: The Ultimate Warrior

6. It Verges On ’Self Destruction’

Oh boy.

Comments from Jim Cornette and Jim Ross, in particular, were less-than-favourable in VICE's latest doc. At one point, JR even said he's "never met or seen a wrestle with less ability" (ouch), and Cornette added that he was never a fan. Being honest, the first part of the show veers eerily close to WWE's 'Self Destruction' DVD.

That's not a compliment. Sure, the negativity kinda' comes with the territory when Warrior is being discussed, but the filmmakers could've done with seeking out someone to help Tyree balance things a little more. There's a one-sided vibe to most of the run time that gets rather tedious.

Hearing Eric Bischoff dump on Warrior's promo style doesn't sit well either. One must ask why Bisch was there to lend a hand at all - more on that later, but let's just say that VICE didn't exactly give Eric much of a reason to chip in with his thoughts.
