5. This Is One Of VICE’s Lighter Episodes
Lance Storm just won the prestigious, 'Best Facial Expression From VICE's Fourth Season' award. That's a screamer, but it perfectly sums up what most wrestling fans would've been thinking hearing all the back and forth between Russo, Jarrett and Bischoff on the episode.
This 'Dark Side' doesn't battle grim topics like death, families being torn apart or people dying due to serious substance abuse issues. It's more of a commentary on the silly side of wrestling politics, and how they got out of hand then somehow ended up in courts so people could laugh at the absurdity of things.
You'll enjoy it if you’re a bit burned out on the all the gritty stuff found elsewhere in VICE's lineup, basically. The fact guys bickering over a wrestling storyline ended up becoming a defamation lawsuit (before being thrown out of court) is simply astonishing.
