10 Things We Learned From James Ellsworth On Talk Is Jericho
10. Ellsworth Isn't Fully Content With His WWE Run
That doesn't mean he's 100% content with what he achieved in WWE. Oh boy, didn't see that one coming, did you?
To James Ellsworth, being grateful for the opportunities he was afforded in WWE is important. After all, he's a short, pasty guy who looks funny and doesn't exactly scream 'WWE Superstar'. During the interview, Ellsworth made sure to thank everyone at WWE for the unlikely chance at TV fame, but also made it clear to Jericho that he'd love to get back there.
He wanted to do so much more and had several ideas before WWE cut him. One of the biggest was for James to join the 205 Live roster and go for the Cruiserweight Title. That would have been fun to see, and it's a slight shock WWE didn't do it before sending him packing.
The shift from SmackDown to 205 wrote itself. WWE weren't interested however and Ellsworth was told that Vince McMahon believed his character had run its course.
