It'd be impossible to look as quirky as James Ellsworth does without being aware of it. James has probably heard the same jokes (mainly aimed at his chin, or lack thereof) his entire life, so he wasn't going to take any jibes about his appearance personally in WWE. Hell, the man himself offered to write some.

Jericho seemed impressed that Ellsworth knew his role in the company and wasn't afraid to go all in playing it. He couldn't help but laugh when James revealed he'd often help JBL write some insults for SmackDown commentary; it was he who came up with the 'turtle out of his shell' line that had others on announce duty giggling like little school girls.

Throughout the interview, one of the coolest things to learn about Ellsworth is just how grounded he is. He went from toiling on the independent circuit to being on national television every week, selling t-shirts and getting over because of his unique looks.
