6. How His Body “Is His Bike”

Growing up, Hardy wanted to play baseball for the Atlanta Braves. He was also interested in getting into Moto Cross, but knew that'd be costly. So, to compromise, he opted to view his body as "his bike" and do wild sh*t with that instead every night in the ring.

That's why he took so many risks during the prime of his career.

Jeff likened those life-threatening bumps as insane stunts one might pull off on a dirt bike. Of course, he still did some biking away from the ring, but taking massive falls from ladders or through tables scratched an adrenaline itch for the man that he still has today.

Thankfully, Hardy knows he has to slow down and listen to his body nowadays. Austin seemed pleased to hear that his pal won't be recreating his crazy TLC stunts in 2021 and beyond. Those days are very much over, but Jeff doesn't regret them one bit.
