Years later, Lawler had one very strange experience working with Jim Carrey.

Carrey's method acting p*ssed the wrestler off, and he admitted to Austin that he didn't enjoy the experience at all. On the first day of filming, Lawler was strolling through the parking lot when a glass bottle of juice landed by his feet and smashed; Carrey had thrown it, and he yelled, "I'll get you!" to Jerry.

The producers were similarly concerned, but told Lawler they were powerless to do anything about it because Carrey was the meal ticket for the entire 'Man On The Moon' project. Things almost came to a head a few days later when Jim stumbled over his lines during a scene. Lawler fed him the line as a joke and Carrey flew into a fit of rage.

He wouldn't stop screaming, then eventually sat back down and mumbled, "You were right, I forgot my line". Amazing. After that, Carrey told the camera crew he wanted to wrap up the scene 'cause he didn't feel comfortable sitting next to Lawler.
