4. What Nash Really Thought About DX

Austin asked some harder-hitting questions throughout the show's second half, and this was one of them. He wanted to know what Nash and some of the other nWo guys thought about D-Generation X when it launched in late-1997. Did they view it as a rip off? Were they in touch with Shawn and Hunter? Was it a compliment.

Kev summed it up by saying this: “Any time you go against WWE, you know they’re gonna out-produce you”. That strong statement basically revealed that he knew DX would have the freedom his New World Order wouldn't over on the other side. They were juvenile, sure, but they didn't have to answer to Ted Turner's corporate suits either.

Oh, and the nWo lot defo viewed it as a lift.

Nash thought it was blatant (Austin agreed), and he told Eric Bischoff that they'd struggle to top what was happening over on Raw. That only became more and more clear with each passing week from early-1998 onwards.
