1. Nash Would Have Booked Hogan Vs. Sting At Starrcade In A Steel Cage

Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan was pro wrestling's biggest match of the year in 1997. Having seen the situation build for around a full year, fans were aching to see Sting return under his fresh guise and vanquish the entire New World Order. What people ended up getting was a regular wrestling match that was fine overall, but perhaps lacked some pizazz.

Kevin Nash agreed with that on Kayfabe Commentaries. Along the way, he said he pitched the idea of having Sting vs. Hogan take place inside a Steel Cage. That way, the nWo would have had a harder time trying to 'screw' Sting out of the belt, even with a dodgy referee like Nick Patrick.

It's hard to argue with that mindset, because it would have made the match seem like a grander affair than it ended up being. An added stipulation could have enabled Sting and Hogan to make the match more lengthy too, drawing it out until the babyface's eventual escape and heroic WCW World Title win.
