As wrestling fans, we've always heard from guys like Steve Austin, Triple H and Chris Jericho that Vince McMahon despises the idea of something not looking good. The boss is willing to get hurt so long as a segment doesn't look phoney. That was on KO's mind right before he head butted Vince on the September 12, 2017 SmackDown.

Owens was calm and relaxed when going over the skit in Vince's office. Come crunch time however, he was super nervous, even more so when McMahon strolled down the aisle and started getting in his face. Vince also went above and beyond, swearing profusely at his employee upon throwing down the mic.

This shocked Owens. He couldn't believe that the same guy who had chastised him for accidentally swearing on TV months beforehand was now in his face roaring abuse. Undoubtedly, McMahon was trying to anger KO and pull a performance out of him.

It worked, because Owens stuck the head on his boss big time and busted him open hard way.
