Kingston knows what it feels like to have a big opportunity snatched away at short notice, and that's why he felt sympathy for Mustafa Ali's concussion issues. Back in 2009, when he was readying himself to make an impact in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out, Kofi was removed from the match on the day of the show.

That had to hurt.

Kingston had spent approximately one month coming up with spots he could do inside the Chamber that'd help him stand out. That effort counted for nothing when officials told him hours before go-time that Edge would interrupt his entrance and take his place in the match. No big spots, no spotlight, nothing.

Edge admitted some guilt over WWE's decision during the interview, but also said he did nothing to change it. In fairness, why would he? He was being booked to leave as the new World Heavyweight Champ in the middle of 'Mania season.
