Chatter about Kurt's pain pill addictions and battles through depression and injury make for some of the episode's most bitter moments. Austin, to his credit, didn't try to push Angle into saying anything that'd make him uncomfortable. He was just intrigued as to why his friend left WWE in 2006.

Kurt went into detail about phone convos with Vince (during one, he admitted that he'd "end up killing himself" if he didn't slow down; Angle didn't mean suicide, he meant he wouldn't be able to keep going and would break down) and focused on one memorable occasion backstage at Raw.

Walking up to the Gorilla Position, Kurt pulled his pants down and stood naked in front of McMahon and everybody else. He wanted his boss to see the severe bruising that a house show match the prior night had caused. His balls were out and Vince was stunned, but Angle got the face-to-face meeting he wanted.

There, McMahon told him that it was time to take extended time off. Kurt didn't - he jumped to TNA instead.
