Speaking of Henry's mother, there's a cool tribute to how much she believed in her boy in the documentary. Then, things change, and Mark lets off some steam by admitting his excellent 'Hall Of Pain' character was based not on love or encouragement, but on hate.

Yes, hate.

After returning to WWE as the legit strongest man in the world, making a name for himself as ECW Champion and settling in again, Mark started to stall. He concluded that he couldn't retire from wrestling without a "great" era in his career, and that's when he started lashing out and letting his anger vent on screen.

Those memorable shouting promos from 2011 onwards? They were a very real insight into 15 years of frustration, and they make for one of the doc's most simultaneously heavy and gripping portions. Honestly, watch it. The way he used anger positively is somehow inspiring.
