10 Things We Learned From Miro/Rusev On Talk Is Jericho

1. WWE Wanted Him To Have Erectile Dysfunction

Yep, erectile dysfunction.

Mercifully, Vince pulled the plug on this storyline wrinkle before it could become a reality. WWE originally fancied telling the world that Rusev couldn't pop a boner - that, in their world, is why Lana had to seek out an alpha male like Bobby Lashley. A girl needs to be satisfied, after all.

Miro just found it embarrassing, and he definitely didn't see how erectile dysfunction was going to help a story sell tickets for WrestleMania. Keep in mind, he'd been told by Heyman that WWE were interested in making Rusev vs. Lashley one of the marquee bouts at 'Mania 36. This didn't exactly fit with that thought.

It was more silly, counterproductive WWE comedy, and Miro hated it. He was willing to do what he was told 99.9% of the time, but this was too much. He'd be a laughing stock, the feud would descend further into farce and he'd be making light of a serious issue on top of all that.
