5. Wrestling Clean Once Frightened Him

Having spiralled into a life filled with the deadly mixture of alcohol and drugs, Levy rarely wrestled 'clean' during his stints in ECW. It wasn't until he was set to the return to the WWF as Raven that Levy started to think about cleaning up his act. Presumably then, he also wrestled under the influence in WCW between 1997-1999, though Raven doesn't acknowledge that.

Before heading back to work for Vince McMahon, Levy started to wean himself off of pain pills and other, more recreational drugs. As he prepared to make his comeback to the WWF, this time as Raven, the man was terrified of wrestling sober. That's quite the stunning admission and shows remarkable honesty.

Returning at Unforgiven 2000, Raven worked for the WWF/WWE until 2003. During that time frame, he largely stayed off the drugs and slowly became more comfortable performing without any influence. Again, what a candid look into Raven's career that admission provides.
