3. He Forgot His First Phone Call With Paul Heyman After Hanging Up

After Diamond Dallas Page had recommended he speak to Paul Heyman about hitting ECW in 1994, Levy roused himself from a drug-fuelled stupor long enough to have a phone conversation with the extreme promotion's boss. Then, as soon as he hung up the phone, Levy forgot everything Heyman had said, including his ECW start date.

Finding out that the company were holding an event nearby in a local high school, Raven decided to attend under the guise of checking out the show. He ended up going to the wrong venue more than once, but made it just in time to see the end. When he showed up backstage, a confused Heyman wondered why Levy was there when he wasn't due to start in ECW for another few weeks.

Raven's plan worked, because Paul reminded him of the start date and wished him well. This was long before smartphones or even regular internet use, so the only way Levy could find out the details of his new job was by trailing ECW around and hoping to bump into Heyman.
