Sasha was never proud of that old Divas belt.

That seemed to catch 'Stone Cold' off guard a little, and it took some explaining from Banks before he was back on track. According to her, it made a complete mockery of how hard women were working to legitimise female wrestling in WWE and move away from the "sexy WWE Diva" thing.

To illustrate her point, Sasha asked, "Would Roman Reigns wear it? Would John Cena wear it?". Yes, the "butterfly" design was crafted to sell sex appeal and femininity, but Banks wanted equality instead. That's why she was so happy when the company scrapped that title and started making women's belts that were comparable to those worn by the men.

Finally, they had parity, and it felt damn good. In fairness, the Divas strap did look more like a pin or toy than a credible championship any athlete would want to hold.
