It's been a challenging few months for the Australian, but Emma's return to Raw as the exact heel she was before a back injury shelved her last May was a hugely satisfying injection into Raw's stagnating women's scene.

Climbing aboard the Raw announce table to re-introduce herself after the disastrous 'Emmalina' transformation was aborted seconds after it began in February, she then immediately got back into the thick of things during a six-women tag team match featuring the four WrestleMania combatants and Dana Brooke.

Either as a continuing member of the Raw roster or in making the swift switch to Smackdown Live!, Emma is a massively valuable commodity on the women's roster.

Furthermore, she proved her worth as this heel version of her character with an outstanding run on NXT ironing out the kinks. It's time for WWE to show her faith in a way they've never previously exhibited.

The contest ended with profile on the three defeated heels, as Nia Jax attacked Charlotte to cheers from the vociferous crowd. It wasn't abundantly clear if this was a babyface turn for Jax, but with the possibility of roster adjustments in the next few weeks, any strong reaction is surely a big positive with decision-makers looking closely.
