That promo pic of 'Taker is definitely one of the most iconic WWE images of all time. It was the kind of snap that terrified young children and gripped adults; it's not hard to imagine that the guy was totally in the zone when company photographers told him to strike a pose.

Or, y'know, he was just scared himself.

It's true. Old-school Undertaker was secretly sh*tting bricks when that picture was taken. He admitted to Satin that he was trying his best to look all mean and scary, "but the only one scared there was me". The dude was still so unsure about the character, and was trying to figure out pro wrestling generally.

So, if you've ever felt a chill run up your spine when viewing that timeless promo grab, then just know that you probably weren't as haunted as The Undertaker was. A certain Mr. Calaway was more frozen with fear than posing for effect.
