During his debut match at Survivor Series 1990, The Undertaker hurled Dusty Rhodes over the top rope after working a few basic spots with him. Inside, 'Taker's heart was beating through his chest, because he'd grown up idolising the 'American Dream'.

Working with Dusty almost ended the gig before it really started.

'Taker admits he found it seriously difficult not to smile when Rhodes went sailing over the ropes. He'd come a long way from a meeting in WCW with Ole Anderson (during which the curmudgeonly booker told him he'd never draw a dime in the business). That, combined with fears of hatching from the Survivor Series egg or becoming 'Shower Boy', washed away when he worked with Dream.

After the match, The Undertaker sought out Dusty in the locker room and made sure to thank him for being so giving to a newbie. Perhaps Rhodes could see what Ole couldn't; it's mind-blowing to think that Anderson said something so harsh to one of wrestling's finest.
