10 Things We Learned From The WrestleMania Go-Home Raw (March 27)

6. Strow-Man's Land

The wispy noise that could be heard at the tail-end of Raw's time-filling Battle Royal segment was all the air finally coming out of the Braun Strowman balloon.

Criminally underused as the token jobber in the build-up to Roman Reigns' contest with The Undertaker, it became apparent as the weeks passed that there was to be no significant storyline crafted for the 'Monster Among Men', which seems a cruel misuse of one of 2017's hottest prospects.

After a strong Royal Rumble and the sacrifice of his unbeaten streak to Reigns in a blistering big-man tussle at Fastlane in February, the Road to WrestleMania appeared paved with gold, but he instead finds himself the odds-on favourite to win the valueless Andre The Giant Battle Royal.

A win is a win is a win, but the real victory would have been a meaningful programme with motivations and a need for conflict, in place of Strowman spending another night launching nobodies over the top rope.

The hope for Braun will be that a strong night at the 'Show of Shows' places him firmly in the frame for a title match in the aftermath of the 'Show of Shows', with potential clashes with Goldberg or Lesnar both appearing strong options.
