6. "She Looks Terrible"

Snuka's behaviour shortly before Nancy's funeral spooked the entire family.

He turned up at the house with then-handler Buddy Rogers to see Argentino before she was buried and pay his respects. Without saying a word to anyone else, Jimmy walked up to the coffin, held Nancy's hand and started crying. Things got awkward when Nancy's step-father and mother had to pull him off.

On his way out the door, Snuka turned to Caroline and said, "She looks terrible". Everyone agreed that was a pretty strange thing to say, and the undertaker said he was particularly troubled by the wrestler's less-than-considerate comment; he told the family how he'd worked hard to make Nancy look presentable and hide the heavy bruising on her neck and face.

Lorraine Salome, Nancy's step-sister, told VICE that things started to piece together from there. The family were shocked, and both Jimmy's behaviour and the undertaker's words made them realise that this might not have been the accident it was reported as.
