5. "Snuka's Promoter" Offered $25,000 To Nancy's Family

When officers visited the Argentino household and informed them that the case would be ruled an accidental death, the family were left stunned. Later, Nancy's mother Caroline had a frosty exchange with someone on over the phone about money - "his (Jimmy's) promoter" called to offer $25,000.

Caroline was incensed.

Even though the "promoter" isn't named in the doc, it's not hard to put two and two together here. Snuka was a longtime member of the WWF roster, so it was presumably either someone working for the company or a personal representative of Jimmy's who made the call. The former makes more sense due to the language ("promoter") used.

Caroline, angry that anyone would think her daughter's life had a price tag, knocked the offer back. The family went on to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Snuka, and they were initially awarded a $500,000 default judgment payment. They'd never get it.
