10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Becky Lynch

5. Quinoa Is Credited More Than Shawn Michaels

You read that right. Quinoa.

When Carmella cashed in on Charlotte shortly after 'Mania 34, Becky was nowhere to be found despite being Flair's on-screen buddy. To fill the gap and explain what had happened, Lynch filmed a quick promo for WWE's Twitter page and said she'd been in catering eating some "damn fine quinoa", so she missed the MITB cash-in.

To Becky's surprise, quinoa-related signs started showing up at live events. That told her she could rely on the crowd to pay attention, and it's when Lynch decided she'd be best of having some fun. That's all well and good, but this is painted as the reason for her change in attitude and eventual ascent towards 'The Man' character.

There's no reference to well-documented conversations Becky had with Shawn Michaels on the set of The Marine 6. Those, way more than any healthy foodstuffs or Twitter promos, changed Becky's life and career for the better. It's baffling that WWE chose to omit that natural story from the doc.
