10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Drew McIntyre

7. "Vince Will Cover It"

Picture a cocksure young Drew swaggering back to the pub table and telling his mates that he'd just bought some champagne. Then, imagine a concerned Wolfgang warning his pal that he should maybe think about how much money he was spending.

Then, laugh upon finding out that McIntyre would tell confused mates, "Vince will cover it". This actually happened, and it wasn't an isolated incident. That war cry would become Drew's go-to catchphrase whenever he was out on the town as a young man - he joked that McMahon would pick up the tab someday.

To Wolfgang and others, it was a ridiculous drunken boast that could never come true. Hell, it likely sounded insane to Drew, but he kept on saying it. Everyone laughed, the champagne flowed and fledgling rookies dared to dream.

You're 100% stealing this. Admit it.
