10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Finn Bálor

2. Finn's Relationship With Seth Rollins

Exploring Finn’s relationship with the man who injured him was always going to provide some of 24’s most interesting material.

Wrestling is a dangerous business, and injuries are always going to happen, no matter how many precautions the performers take. Bálor recognises this and emphasised that he had no ill will towards Seth Rollins after his injury, but there was still plenty of ground to cover on the show.

As fate would have it, 'The Architect' suffered a recurrence of his knee injury while Bálor was sidelined, and the two spent some time together in the same Alabama rehabilitation facility. When asked about the accident, Seth stated that "it made him feel miserable," and while Finn gently ribs him for causing the injury, there’s clearly no bad blood between the two. "I actually felt worse for Seth than I did for myself," Bálor says.

The duo got to spend a few days rehabbing together, and bonded as friends for the first time, as they both fought their way towards fitness ahead of WrestleMania. While Rollins drew plenty of criticism in the aftermath of the injury, he comes off remorseful and sympathetic in 24.
