10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Finn Bálor
1. He Might Be The Most Affable Man Alive
From the moment 24 starts, it’s very clear that Finn Bálor is one of the most likeable men in wrestling. While Seth Rollins’ Network special often painted him as a surly, grouchy character (and understandably so, given the circumstances of his knee injury), Finn’s good nature comes off extremely well throughout, and he only shows frustration or sorrow for a few fleeting moments during the hour-long runtime.
Towards the start of the documentary, Kevin Owens states that "there are a lot of great people in wrestling, but Finn is the best person I’ve ever met." Bálor was there for Owens and Sami Zayn during their own injury woes, just as they were there for him. The Irishman’s peers talk about him with complete reverence, and the scene in which he’s catching up with old friends back home makes him look like somebody you’d want to have a pint with.
Above all else, Finn Bálor exudes positivity. Even when he’s down, he always sees the light at the end of the tunnel, and the documentary rarely focuses on the negative for too long. Hope is its strongest theme, and in an industry full of bold personalities, Bálor appears humble, relatable, and affable.
