Those who came away from Raw 25 with a bad taste in their mouths should give this WWE 24 special a try.

No, it's not as insightful as others in the series, but there is some juicy backstage footage, a boat load of emotion from legends you probably grew up with and more of a nostalgic feel in general. This is what Raw 25 needed more of, and that's particularly true of the Manhattan Center portion.

Fans in Manhattan bought tickets to that show for a reason. They craved a celebration of everything they had loved about Raw since 1993, and they barely got it despite being charged a fortune for seats. Watching WWE 24, the promotion's own love of their flagship show comes to the fore.

That should have been the case on 22 January in both the Barclays and Manhattan Centers. The fact it wasn't and it takes a 50-minute documentary to ease the pain is sinful. Give Vince another Stunner from us for not realising that, Stone Cold.
