8. The Battle Isn't Over

It's absolutely wonderful that Roman Reigns' leukaemia is in remission, but as the Big Dog makes pains to point out - and as those utter a*seholes who have already began booing him once more should realise - this doesn't mean the battle is over.

The treatment for chronic myeloid leukaemia requires oral chemotherapy for life. From now on, Roman is dependent on life-saving drugs just to keep his condition in check - and the possibility of relapse can never be ruled out. Though people obviously have every right to express disinterest towards a performer, maybe a consideration of the bigger picture might inform better judgement before old habits return.
