Things get a bit better when 'Taker fondly remembers headlining Madison Square Garden for what might be the final time on 7 July 2018. There, he teamed with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman against Baron Corbin, Elias and Kevin Owens in a six-man tag main event.

The match itself paled in comparison to a memorable arrival.

When The Undertaker's chaperone drove up to the legendary venue, he noticed that it was bathed in purple light. That was Vince McMahon's way of paying tribute to one of his most famous creations, and it reaffirmed to 'Taker how important he'd been to the WWE machine for so many years. It was a lovely touch.

After the match was done, 'Taker made sure to make eye contact with several fans in the stands (something he claims he has never done throughout his lengthy career) and wanted to soak in the moment. He's still not sure if he'll ever work MSG again.
