Shane Helms, who was WCW's final Cruiserweight Champion before the company closed its doors, would've been a better fit to show up when Bisch was talking fresh talent. Instead, he was too busy thinking 'Big Bang' was a terrible name for the promotion's relaunch on pay-per-view.

To Helms, 'Big Bang' conjured up images of creating "something out of nothing", and that meant WCW had "been nothing" to the wrestling business before. There's merit to his point, but we're not convinced many others shared his sentiments. To most at the time, 'Big Bang' seemed like a solid title for the relaunch.

It was exciting, alliterative and something new for the company rather than relying on an established name like Spring Stampede or Slamboree. Helms disagreed that it was anything other than a reminder to people that the old WCW had sucked and that's why they were making sweeping changes.

Fair play.
