10 Things We Learned From WWE's Finn Bálor: For Everyone

4. "A Very Famous Club"

Though touched upon briefly to ensure a fair chronological story is told, the DVD doesn't go into great detail about his 2017 return because, in truth, there was very little to go into. Bálor even acknowledged this before using it to discuss a match that remains one of the best he's had in WWE, not least because it was a dream match established over the course of 48 insane hours.

As he put it, "the storyline with Bray Wyatt never really amounted to anything" after 'The Eater Of Worlds' picked up mumps before his Sister Abigail alter ego could take on what appeared to be a pumpkin-themed Demon. At the eleventh hour though, WWE's replacement offering blew away even the measured expectations of the maniacal original.

Finn noted how their paths had just missed each other to such a degree that he believed they'd never get the chance to compete. Styles had started up with TNA as Bálor took on the world on the indies. 'The Phenomenal One' arrived in New Japan Pro Wrestling immediately after Prince Devitt departed, taking his spot as Bullet Club leader in the process. The dream match was rare, the quality even more so.
