Steve Austin has shared a similar story to this one himself, and it's all rather genius.

Between 1991-1994-ish, The Undertaker and Paul Bearer devised a brilliant plan to save them from the hoards of fans waiting out Madison Square Garden. Instead of driving directly to the famous venue, they'd rock up to a nearby Ramada Inn and then hop into the back of a waiting ambulance.

Then, that ambulance would drive through the parting crowds huddled around MSG's parking lots and into the arena. This scheme worked a charm until somebody figured out what was happening and fans caught onto the sneaky entrance. Once they did, 'Taker and Bearer had to find another way in and out of the Garden.

'Taker claims as many as 2,500 fans were waiting for them one day, and that led to one of the most awkward moments of his lengthy career. Trench coat-wearing 'Phenom' and pasty manager had to wait on arena staff to come and let them in.
