Arquette was rushed to hospital after the Gage match, requiring immediate treatment for his wounds in a bout that Wrestling With Wregret's Brian Zane called one of the scariest things he's ever seen in a ring. As David recovers, we see clips of a dumbfounded Joe Rogan and Jake Roberts reviewing the match, shocked at what had become of the former actor.

Tangling with Gage preceded a downturn in David's life. Christina pondered what the point in him participating in wrestling was, saying it was supposed to be a way for him to get healthy. Then, as if by fate, Arquette's best friend, Luke Perry, passed away soon after driving him to the hospital.

David became a "f*cking mess," his wife said. He'd suffered a heart attack one year and gone through the hell of the deathmatch two years later. Christina was legitimately worried their marriage wouldn't survive another year, or if David would even be around for that to happen.

But You Cannot Kill David Arquette was never going to close on such a depressing note...
