10 Things We Need To See Before WWE's Bloodline Saga Ends

5. Paul Heyman Scheming

Roman Reigns The Usos Bloodline

Heyman’s reveal as Roman Reigns’ new ally was the first moment we knew something had changed on the Big Dog’s return. He hasn’t always been as boisterous a presence as he was in Brock Lesnar’s corner, but he has delivered some unforgettable moments in the three year programme, most notably the blistering promo exchange with Cody Rhodes.

As awed as he is by the Tribal Chief, Heyman is ultimately an opportunist, and his self preservation instinct should kick in as Reigns’ world begins to implode. Not a man to go down with the ship, he has betrayed just about everyone he’s ever represented, and if Roman’s power is to wane, the stage is set for some classic Heyman schtick.

Few performers can flit from slimy and smug to cowardice like the former ECW man can. With Lesnar halfway out the company, a search for the next Paul Heyman Guy could bubble along nicely in the background, and perhaps the replacement is already there in the form of the younger Fatu brother.

Kayfabe could blend nicely with reality here - Heyman’s producing powers extend to Reigns, Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey, at least two of whom are toying with calling it a day. The man’s got a ton to offer in story and out.
