10 Things We Need To See Post-WWE Summerslam 2022
4. Bring In Triple H’s People
It should be obvious that HHH is unlikely to have the level of creative control he enjoyed in NXT, with so many more cooks involved on the main roster. As the head of creative, though, he needs the chance to put his stamp on the product, and that starts with getting his people in.
The horse has bolted on a few of these - no one is expecting WWE to nab back the Coles, Joes, and Regals from AEW - but Triple H should have some chance to get the band back together on either side of the camera.
Road Dogg is no doubt rubbing his hands together, and perhaps HBK could make the jump from the Performance Centre. Talent-wise, we’ve already seen Dakota Kai brought back sharpish, and the likes of Tommaso Ciampa might be eagerly anticipating doing more than Being The Miz’s Pal.
But let’s dare to dream: Johnny Gargano? Candice LeRae? Karrion Kross? And with rumours abounding that the day-glo gloss of NXT 2.0 might be toned down a little, there could be an influx of new or returning talent on the horizon, delivered with joined up thinking.
