This is one to get out of the way pronto, because it could be considered unavoidable.

Wrestlers could be heard grunting, talking and screaming their way through matches when WWE first switched all programming to in-house facilities like the PC. This was particularly noticeable during matches like Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane at WrestleMania 36 - that sounded like a rather different form of entertainment.

This in-ring noise was all pretty distracting before WWE put some NXT extras in the crowd behind plexiglass and encouraged them to cheer, boo, start chants and react. The ceaseless drone of 'Big Ass Fans' above the ring was only broken up by commentary soundbites and all that yelping from women like Sane.

There were loads of tweets about this on social media over 'Mania weekend. WWE obviously felt it was undermining fan enjoyment of matches too, because they moved quickly to add some ambience and natural atmosphere to shows.
