10 Things WWE Actually Got Right In 2020

9. Giving Sasha Banks & Bayley All The Belts

No two women shone brighter in 2020 than Bayley and Sasha Banks.

They capitalised big time on the fact that Becky Lynch went on maternity leave and Charlotte Flair took some time off this year. To their credit, WWE met the duo halfway and smartly centred the otherwise-useless Women's Tag belts around the pair's domination. Sasha and Bayley worked a great story here.

Their friendship-turned-rivalry is one WWE can return to in 2021 as well, and that could be massive. Neither women's division on Raw or SmackDown would've been anywhere near as fun without them, and nobody else (maybe other than Asuka) has been able to claim the same importance.

Booking Bayley as SmackDown Champ, Sasha as Raw Champ and keeping the tag straps around their waists just worked. Then, slowly, WWE could chip away at their stronghold on the women's game and spin off into a hot feud between them.
