10 Things WWE Are Seriously Neglecting In 2017

9. Live Events

WWE's live events have seen some truly blockbuster encounters over the past couple of years: from the Randy Orton/Brock Lesnar rematch after their brutal SummerSlam 2016 encounter to the Lesnar/Samoa Joe return bout after Great Balls of Fire. Incredibly, neither one of these matches was recorded for broadcast.

This seems to be a recurring theme with Lesnar in particular, who has wrestled on over a dozen house shows in the last two years alone. These include opposition like Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Rusev, and Kevin Owens - all of which would have made great viewing for fans on the Network.

In the same amount of time, 'The Beast Incarnate' has wrestled in only ten televised matches. With such a limited working schedule, it seems baffling that WWE would waste Lesnar's in-ring bookings without even recording the bouts on film.

WWE had a good thing going when they began airing select live events as Network specials in 2015, such as The Beast in the East and Live From MSG. Lesnar's rare appearances make him an instant draw for any show and if WWE were to begin recording select live events (such as the Lesnar shows), they would have fresh and unique Network content that would attract genuine fan interest.
