10 Things WWE Are Seriously Neglecting In 2017
8. ECW Merchandise
While certain designs may fall outside of the WWE's jurisdiction, the ECW name, brand and logo is all owned by WWE (as the ill-fated revamp in 2006 will attest). If WWE were to make the most of the immortal three letters, they could open themselves up to a solid stream of revenue from fans of the classic product.
The clothing designs could be particularly profitable and apparel associated with the legendary brand would no doubt be an instant hit on WWE Shop or at merch stands worldwide. The original "EC F'n W" shirt itself is a retro classic, while the green and silver version used during the Invasion angle would no doubt be a sought after throwback, not counting the various other incarnations of the ECW logos.
Even the ECW version of the OMG! Top 50 Incidents DVD was cancelled with no explanation given. Instead, the documentary portion slipped onto the Network with little fanfare and left what could have been a nice amount of money on the table. This decision was particularly baffling, as ECW releases have traditionally done very well in the past, as have the previous two OMG! Top 50 editions dedicated to WWE and WCW.
