10 Things WWE Are Struggling To Get Over Right Now

4. Natalya As Women's Champion

Natalya became SmackDown Women's Champion by defeating Naomi at SummerSlam. It's her first WWE title reign in six and a half years, and it is certainly deserved in terms of dedication. Nattie has been with the company since 2008, but has spent much of her tenure on the periphery, biding her time while others hogged the spotlight. This makes it hard to begrudge her recent success, but she isn't over, and it's difficult to see how this will change.

The problem lies not with her ring work (which has always been solid), but the other aspects of her performance. Natalya is one of the most uncharismatic wrestlers in the company, her acting skills are non-existent, and she always plays the same bland character, regardless of whether she's face or heel. This makes it impossible to invest in her, and means her title run is doomed to fail.

The past few weeks have been rife with teases that Carmella is about to cash in her Money In The Bank briefcase, suggesting that a title change may be imminent, after which Nattie will likely slide back to her natural place on the card - the middle of the pack.
