It's been ten years since a fan brought the infamous banner reading, "IF CENA WINS, WE RIOT," to ECW One Night Stand. As a result, the threat of a full-scale melee in reaction to unwanted wrestling booking has continuously loomed. If there's one thing wrestling fans can be counted on, it's that they always do exactly what they threaten to do at their most frustrated.

It's a good thing that WWE spent close to three hours demoralizing the crowd by having their favorites lose one by one until the fans were firmly slumped in their chairs. That way, when Reigns finally won the WWE Championship in a match that felt twice as long as Batman Vs. Superman, they wouldn't have the energy to even throw a single chair. While WWE can never control the thoughts of their fans, they can certainly control their actions.
